Following the
proposal of the European Commission to discontinue INTAS at the end of the
6th Framework Programme, the General Assembly agreed at its 37th meeting on
22 September 2006 that INTAS would be in liquidation as of 1 January 2007.
From the beginning of 2007 therefore, INTAS started to wind-up its
activities, with no new activities to be started from that time.
The General
Assembly appointed Dr. Alain Gérard, independent consultant, as liquidator
of INTAS and approved his mandate.
In this context,
it
should be noted that INTAS will continue to comply with
all
its
commitments.
Ongoing projects, Innovation Grants and Fellowships will be implemented
according to the terms of the grant agreements.
